Community Seminar Series

The Mount Arrowsmith Biosphere Foundation is calling on you to submit ideas for our next Community Seminar Series topic!

The Community Seminar, otherwise known as a PECHA KUCHA 20×20 night, is a riveting series of short presentations by folks with something interesting to share on a set topic!  The catch is that you have 20 images/slides to tell your story, and only 20 seconds to speak to each image!

We are looking to organize our second Community Seminar before the end of 2011. Please submit your topic suggestions to coordinator@mabr.ca.

On May 31, 2011, 8 community speakers gave very informative talks on their own experiences with local food – be it in their own backyard, their own business or through travels.  It was a fun-filled evening shared by 40 locals with the assistance of food and beer!
